Men's suits aren’t the only thing that Hugo Boss does well. Over the last couple of seasons, this brand has carved out its own niche in men’s shoes. They are as well made (and as classic) as the suits that made the brand famous. These particular Hugo Boss shoes are a twist on a classic style. The faded tinge of royal blue against a shiny leather backdrop makes this shoe one of a kind -- and just right for the inner rock star in us all. Our pick: the Pixol by Hugo. J.W. Anderson Shows Androgyny For Fall 2011 by James R. Sanders for Kenton Magazine
Genderless clothing? What a concept.
J.W. Anderson is one of those designers who consistently try to prove that androgyny is doable, and as far as his fans are concerned, he succeeds. This designer creates collections that both men and women would wear, and it really does work.
Anderson’s direction is uptown-grunge with an old edge – for both his women’s and men’s collections that were shown separately at London Fashion Week. Anderson, originally from Ireland, was first an actor, and was said to have liked stage costuming so much that he went to the London College of Fashion to pursue design. Soon after, he was sponsored to show during London Fashion Week.
